Installer Training
Pressac Communications offers a full training programme for enabling installers to gain Pressac Registered Installers Status. Training takes only one day, is organised by experienced Pressac personnel and covers the following:
- Introduction
- History
- Systems Overview
- Design Parameters
- Standards
- Practical Assessment
- Testing And Inspection
- Examination
- Warranty Overview
Included within the day is hands on training, with all equipment
and product provided, including a comprehensive training
manual for ongoing reference. Installers will finish
with an examination, and on successful completion of
this, will become a Pressac Registered Installer. (Minimum 4 engineers per company)
Topics of discussion will include:
- The relationships between Cat3, 5e and 6
- Principles of Optical Fibre
- Current legislation
- Best working practices
